Publisher's Summary

In the wake of their recent loss, the Caverns and Creatures gang are left hanging. Do their choices amount to more than waiting around to die of thirst and leaping to a quicker death?

Probably, or else this would have been a much shorter story.

More mastery by Robert Bevan

This book compliments the previous books perfectly. I continued to be amazed, intrigued and entertained with every work masterfully written by Robert. Once again it was wonderfully performed Jonathan Sleep, he brings every character, new and old, to life. I can't wait for the follow up book.

Back on track. Loved it.

Worth reading the last book to get to this one. A twisting tale. Fun and funny

So happy it's out!

These stories are amazing. RB cracks me up. I mean, yeah, it's a lot of fart and "your mom" jokes but come-on that s*-+s finny!

dick jokes

If you've made it this far, you know what this series is about. If you're trying to start with a new series, start at book one. Bevan tells stories like your drunk buddy at the camp fire... except you're interested, the story is coherent, and just when you think you have it all figured out, you're wrong. I absolutely love this series, I enjoy Jonathan Sleep's narration, and I highly recommend it to anyone that will listen.

Another fantastic addition to the C&C library!

CF6 was hilarious, action-packed and thoroughly enjoyable. Jonathan Sleep portrays all characters flawlessly...as usual. I’m left anxiously awaiting the next audiobook in the C&C universe!

Good performance, lacking storyline

Normally I love these books, but for me, this book fell flat. It seemed to be more like the in-between books than a leading title, with characters all over the place on seemingly random journeys that left my husband and I drifting away and having to rewind because it wasn't keeping our attention. I'll definitely be getting the next book, as we're quite invested, but this one just didn't meet our high standards for this series and left us slightly bored and wanting a lot more.

Another split story

Bevan splits the party again, but this book is a winner. The Cooper storyline is fantastic. The other storylines are great too, with plenty to recommend each. I'm so happy to hear the author get back to a great series, after a little bit of a stumble with books 4 and 5.

Like crack

I can't get enough. It pains me to think how long it will be for book 7 to arrive. The author's story-telling seems to be leveling up faster than his characters!

Worst one yet. Don't bother.

This started out as a good series, but the writers obsession with grossing readers out is infantile. Also, the story just meanders with nothing important happening. The characters are largely unlikable except for the female characters. I wish Bevan had wrapped this story up with book 4. At this point it is painful to read. I returned books 5 and 6 and am done with this series. I did like the narrator .

A Book About Poop Jokes

3 chapters of detaild dick and fart jokes later and I can not read any more. There has been a steady decline since the first book in the, what I can only call "readability" of this story. Yes, there have always been D&F jokes in the series, but after what felt like an hour of jiz and shit description I can not take it anymore. the series was a great idea, just poorly executed, good luck.

Terrible

It has a couple funny parts. This story has gotten so stupid at this point, it isn't worth listening to.

Another cracking book!

Once again Robert Bevan has produced a witty, adventure packed, tale of unlikely hero’s. Plenty of laugh out loud moments, can’t recommend this enough! If you’ve listened to the last volumes, you don’t need selling! Get it!

Going around in circles

Personally I had high hopes for this entry since the party final gets back together but then the party splits again. This leaves the story just as fractured as the last entries. The story doesn't go anywhere and keeping the party split means less banter between characters and the characters that are together get stale fast.

the worst narrator.

I could not get any further than 30 minutes in and even that was a burden to my pòr suffering ear drums. The narrator of this book is either the love child of E-OR and Mr snuffalupaguss (sorry for the spelling) or missing his anti depression medication. The voice acting looked like it was going to be just fine, but interspersed with Mr Nooseboys monotonous bring everyone down vibe I feel like I have wasted my money. So unless Noosey decides to re record whilst on his Prozac this time... I'll pass on this and all future purchases featuring Mr trap door.

Nat 1...

As I started this series - and at the start it was juvenile but an OK story - but god has it gone downhill as the series progressed - I stuck with it throughout the body parts / bodily functions / sex fixations of the 12 year old with Tourette's - or someone who thinks this is all that boys think about... I finally gave up and just couldn't finish this series.
