Publisher's Summary

Learn what goes on in the criminal mind of a serial killer. Now with two new chapters!

Go inside the twisted mind of a serial killer!

To the untrained eye, a serial killer looks just like any other member of the public. They wear clothes, they eat food, and they go about their daily lives as any normal person would do. But there is a difference about them, which is unquantifiable. It is the deadly secret that all serial killers hide from the outside world. If they weren’t able to conceal this secret so well, many cold-blooded killings could have been prevented. So if we could see deep within their souls and spot the things that made them the way they are, maybe we can stop them from becoming serial killers in the first place.

With this book, I aim to get inside the mind of a serial killer, to reveal what makes them tick and to see if there are any personality traits that are the same across the wide range of different serial killers through time. Finally, I will take a look at the top five serial killer personalities and 10 of the most famous serial killers in history. This will give us insight into the mind of a serial killer and a better understanding of the things that turn people into cold and calculating killing machines....

Do you find serial killers interesting? Would you like to get a glimpse inside the mind of a serial killer? Then get this book now!

Reads like a school project, much better options

Very shallow look at the mind of a serial killer - sections just quoted from better books, author contradicts his own opinion throughout the book, reads a bit like a school project

I learned a lot from this.

This is the best and most concise "Serial Killer" story that I've ever read/listen. Well written and fast paced.

Understand the criminal psychology here.

It is indeed a great story book by "Shawn Becker". I like the fact that the author writes book of true crime. Although horrifying that people are actually like this, it is fascinating to listen this part and will enjoy the 2nd part as well.

Short, simple, easy to follow Book 1.

It would be decent for someone that doesn't know much about the case, as a primer before you delve into the twisted story of "The Criminal Mind of a Serial Killer". I enjoyed the book and I love how it goes through each victim in order and it really hits you just how many people he's killed, it's a lot. Looking forward to the book 2.

I liked it.

I liked that the author had a chapter with some common traits Serial Killers have and that he connected them with real examples of serial killers there have been through history.

Fascinating story

Fascinating story as look at this guy- normal, not bad looking yet he was a psycho. I am appalled at how often in America we fail to recognize or when recognized fail to get help needed for the mentally ill. A good lesson in it for everyone.

Gritty and well written

I know a lot of people want all the gory details. I don’t specifically. My inspiration is enough. This author didn’t glaze over this story that has been written by many other author over the years. But he did relate all the murders without chronic too long on the manners of each victims death.

A well written criminal book.

This was very well written. I appreciated Mr. Shawn Becker’s effort. This book tells a straightforward story about a allegedly normal guy who was a monster! Having followed the case when it was happening, it helped to get a better insight into the story.

The author has done it.

I’ve read some fiction books already and watched some documentaries on Serial Killing, but this is by far the best by Shawn Becker’s writing style makes understanding the feelings and emotions behind “The Criminal Mind of a Serial Killer” as though you knew the killer. I could not put the book down and anxiously waiting for the next version.
