Publisher's Summary

One of Tom Clancy's most storied characters, Dominic Caruso, is the only one who can stop America's secrets from falling into enemy hands in this blockbuster new novel written by Clancy's longtime coauthor.

Over the course of three decades, Tom Clancy created a world alive with prescient action and remarkable individuals. In Tom Clancy Support and Defend, Dominic Caruso is presented with the deadliest challenge of his career.

Dominic Caruso. Nephew of President Jack Ryan. FBI agent and operator for The Campus, a top secret intelligence agency that works off the books for the U.S. government. Already scarred by the death of his brother, Caruso is devastated when he can't save a friend and his family from a terrorist attack.

Ethan Ross was a mid-level staffer for the National Security Council. Now he's a wanted fugitive on the run with a microdrive that contains enough information to wreck American intelligence efforts around the world. The CIA is desperate to get the drive back, but so are the Russians and various terrorist groups all of whom are closer to catching the fugitive. Only Caruso stands in their way, but can he succeed without the aid of his Campus colleagues?

Different tac

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Why they went away from Lou Diamond Phillips I don't understand he is as much The Campus as John Ding and Jack junior Dom is a good Character but not the lead one.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

They could have worked Melanie craft back in to work at the Campus that would have got them all humming as specially young Jack Again Dom is not the lead .

What didn’t you like about Scott Brick’s performance?

Too slow leaves you hanging with nothing LDP always had you feeling like you were in the room

Was Tom Clancy Support and Defend worth the listening time?

Yes but not like a normal Campus story

Any additional comments?

Get back to the Campus as before it's tried and proven.

Bring back Lou Diamond Phillips

I felt that the narrator was not as good as Lou Diamond Phillips who did an amazing job narrating the previous 3 Tom Clancy books. I found the new narrator to have a repetitive tone and often found myself falling asleep due to the lack of a certain "umph" that Lou Diamond Phillips delivered.

Fast paced ripper of a read

The narrator Scott Brick did an excellent job, he did not over play the narration.

A worthy continuation of the legacy

I stopped reading the last TC/MG effort and bought this one with trepidation. Glad I did. A good yarn, a solid, linear story and well illustrated action. The very end is somewhat weak and IMHO unnecessary.

The narration is a negative. Overly dramatic at times which should really be left to the imagination of the reader given that the words are well written. Lou Diamond Phillips was so much a part of the Campus universe.
