Publisher's Summary
When her friends from the Tuesday Night Club visit Miss Marple's house, the conversation often turns to unsolved crimes. Trying to solve these 13 mysteries are Raymond West, a young writer; the artist Joyce Lemprière; Dr Pender, the clergyman, who claims to know the hidden side of human character; Mr Petherick, a lawyer who is only interested in the logical approach; and Sir Henry Clithering, whose experience as commissioner of Scotland Yard speaks for itself. Then, of course, there is Miss Marple, who has observed enough about human nature to be more than a match for the most perspicacious investigator.
Critic Reviews
"The plots are so good that one marvels...most of them would have made a full-length thriller." (Daily Mirror)

Great audio book
Joan Hickson is a great narrator, very easy to listen to. I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook, a series of short murder mysteries.

My least preferred narrator
Wonderful tales and brain teasers but Joan H has such an awful pretentious way of reading and does a poor job at characters other than herself. It’s a shame. She’s my least favourite Marlow as well. All in all worth the listen

Classic Christie!!
The Thirteen Problems is a collection of some of Agatha Christie’s most popular short stories. The Joan Hickson brings the stories to life with her tradition style. The reader is transported to be a “fly in the wall” at the various dinner parties etc. Fantastic!!!
