Great stuff
Jim Butcher goes from from strength to strength. This is another corker and I am enjoying re-listening to it based on what I know about him now.

Perfect voice and heart wrenching story
The voice actor is perfect, he fits the personality of dresden perfectly. He also does the voice of other characters and jokes perfectly. The road runner impression at the end was a massive break in the din of the fight and caused me to burst out laughing
As for the story itself, it was good to see more of the power dresden holds and his whits. Loved every minute of it and hated (in a good way) the many betrayals inflicted on dresden.

Best Dresden book so far
The story was very well structured with very good pacing. Very much a detective story mixed with Middle Earth sized climax. You can tell Butcher is really hitting his stride as a writer and now I'm really looking forward to the next book.

A fantastic book
Absolutely love the Dresden files. This boom kept me guessing and James Marsden’s voice is so addictive, I simply can’t get enough. Downloaded the next one and can’t wait to get started!

Great all round
I really enjoyed this story and the characters. This far into the series the characters have developed and the story continues to evolve. Butcher writes well using great descriptions and a good mix of humour and seriousness. James Masters is an excellent reader which nade the audio book enjoyable to listen to.

Once you hear it
I have enjoyed this series, especially this book and the last. The narrator does a good job and suits this series well but occasionally there is too much wet 'mouth noise'. It is one of those things where you'll hear it once and it will take you away from the story because you're now focussing on it. Well for me it did.
