More romance than thriller..

Eugh. The endless discriptions of eyes and heat and masculinity and ... eugh. The plot was intriguing, the crime and hunt, but just too much of the lovey dovey bull for my tastes. Lots of repetitions of reasons they can't be together.. bla blah blah. I've enjoyed more recent works by Tami Hoag. I think I'll stick to her more recent novels.

Best Tami read yet

Loved this thriller by Tami Hoag. First of two books (second is Guilty as Sin) i thoroughly enjoyed it and the plot twists were engrossing.

While a little dated now, the novel and narration still held my attention throughout. i cant sayit was "enjoyable" as a little too dark for me - i think the elements of romance were basically what enabled me to keep going when i found it a bit hard to deal with (mystery, bad relationships, stereotyping etc). not sure what others mean by gratuitous sex scenes, but i didnt have any problems and thought they fit the building relationship of two key characters. i didnt love the narrator, but didnt hate her either. maybe found tone znd style a bit dated, and occassionally annoying when you could hear her with a cold, or the saliva pooling in her mouth!

very dated lots of gratuitous sex.

story ok. All the steamy sex detracts from the story. A very nineties story.
