Watch Will Trent on Disney+

The second gripping Will Trent novel from the No. 1 bestselling author.

When Atlanta housewife Abigail Campano comes home one afternoon, she walks into a nightmare. A broken window, a bloody footprint on the stairs and her teenage daughter lying dead on the landing, a man standing over her with a knife.

The struggle which follows changes Abigail's life forever.

Now, in the relentless heat of a Georgia summer, Special Agent Will Trent must find the brutal killer who has targeted one of Atlanta's wealthiest, most privileged communities - before it's too late...

Great story, terrible reading.

I really enjoy these books but this is the worst reader I've heard. His female voices ruined this for me. Awful.

Series getting better but issue with narration

Good Story, the series is getting better, Good characters and linkages. The production of the audio was a bit stuffed up. Cut out in places, weird music & repeated segments in others.

Disagree with performer comments.

Several readers commented on the performance - one even said lack lustre. I have to disagree - I thought the reader, Phil Gigante, was a genius when it came to the voices for characters. Every character was different and I have to admit I thought there were several different readers at first. When listening to a story, we don't need over-dramatization but to be able to distinguish the voices of different characters is a necessity.
Too many audio stories have a very strong accent (especially, dare I say, American drawl) that it was a pleasure to hear neutrality - well done Phil Gigante.

Good story, kept me interested

This is overall a good story that kept me interested. Karin Slaughter is usually a good read and this is pretty standard. Good also if you've read Tryptic first to know the characters, but not essential. A solid performance as well, easy to listen to.
