Publisher's Summary
End of Watch is a compelling and chilling suspense novel which sees retired detective Bill Hodges back on the trail of his nemesis, Brady Hartsfield, the criminal the press called The Mercedes Killer.
Foiled in his attempt to commit a second mass murder, Hartsfield is confined to a hospital brain-injury unit in a seemingly unresponsive state. But all is not what it seems: Brady is able to influence both his physician and the hospital librarian to commit crimes in the outside world.
Now the technological genius has created a hypnotic electronic fishing game which compels users to commit suicide, and he is determined to target the three people who put him in hospital: Hodges and his sidekicks, Holly and Jerome.

Disappointed
Loved the first two books but found this one disappointing. The story line is unconvincing and lacks the interest the first two books had. Found it difficult to enjoy.

Compelling, Immersive , Stunning,
A compelling and Immersive experience. Narrated with true pathos and drama. Stephen King's mastery of language is given due tribute here.

The of watch...
I enjoyed this book for its (yet again) great performance and having listened to Book 1&2 in the series. But I started to get annoyed with the need of having to explain all references to previous books in detail. It also became very predictable...

The final watch
I'm hoping that Mr Mercedes is still alive somewhere, not because I like home, nothing like that but because this series is too good.. It's too good. And I'm sad it's over. This makes me sad. I'm also autistic like Holly. Even though. It was never actually said it was heavily implied. I am sad for many reasons now that it's over. I wish it could go on forever and ever. But it's not. It's over.

Brilliant as always
Fantastic storyline (when is it not?), superb narration by Will Patton and a fitting send off for Kermit, the hero we all love

Two master story tellers combine
Another wonderful story from Stephen King, brilliantly narrated by Will Patton.
All 3 books in this series make for a totally engaging listening experience.

Great story
I loved this story and the fact that will Patton read all the novels in this series was fabulous. He brings each character in the book to life with their own unique personalities. Top job from both the author and the narrator.

It’s fine
You need closure, this provides that much, but offers nothing further in terms of entertainment
