Breathless and addictive!

Thank you Val and Caroline for another wonderful journey into the somehow familiar pre internet, cloud, smart phone, instant communication world. Already listening to book 3!

A good story

Val McDermod is undeniably the queen of crime fiction, her Tony Hill and Carol Jordan series were spectacular, an all time favourite without parallel but there we are talking the mystery, the psychological drama and suspense with the law enforcement and home office resources. To cut to the point, I'm struggling to get the point and role of a journalist in solving murders. It should be left to the professionals. Good enough story though and I'm still a Val McDermid fan.
