Publisher's Summary

The Zondervan Biblical and Theological Lectures series provides a unique audio learning experience. Unlike a traditional audiobook’s direct narration of a book’s text, Contemporary Theology: Audio Lectures includes high quality live-recordings of college-level lectures that cover the important points from each subject as well as relevant material from other sources.

In Contemporary Theology: Audio Lectures, professor and author Kirk R. MacGregor provides a chronological survey of the major thinkers and schools of thought in modern theology. Accessible and comprehensive, sessions cover the influence of philosophy and the recent Christian philosophical renaissance on theology as well as developments in exegetical theology. MacGregor also surveys evangelical perspectives alongside mainline and liberal developments, global contributions, and the implications of theological shifts on ethics and church life.

Contemporary Theology: Audio Lectures is an ideal resource for traditional students, students in distance and online-learning courses, and self-learners, wanting to better understand Christian theology.

An excellent summary of various theologies

A good summary of different theologies. I would appreciate not just a description of the views but also an evaluation/critique.
Audible needs to divide the audio into different chapters rather than having one long 4 hour single track.
