Loved this story of how Travis thought he didn’t need love and Cara wanted one last fling with him to try and get him out of her system. Travis found out what his heat had been telling him for ages. Cara found out that she was in even deeper then when she started.
Narration was awesome.

yet another story where men have trouble seeing what's right in front of them.
a simple story of friends realising their love for each other Years later.
seems to be Ms Blakleys recipe. I enjoyed the fire-fighter angle but it was lost in this book. it was simply Travis working through feelings. BTW...a professional card player is a weird profession. even though it's meant to be the analogy for Travis's thought process.
