Conform by Ariel Sullivan is a strong, thoughtful entry into adult dystopian romance. Narrated by Amanda Leigh Cobb, the audiobook is emotionally grounded, engaging, and far above most single-narration performances. Cobb brings Emeline’s perspective to life, though I hope future installments add a male narrator—dual narration would elevate this immersive world into god-tier territory.

The story delivers a harsh, intricate dystopia with political intrigue, rebel networks, shifting alliances, and slow-burn romance. Emeline can be frustratingly naive at times, but the uncertainty over who she will end up with keeps the tension high.

Pacing occasionally falters, but the world-building, intrigue, and Cobb’s narration make this a compelling, immersive listen.
