Compund 26

A fantastic read. The Narrator did a fantastic job. The Author did a great job with the world building, and the Characters. This is way up there with Divergent. This would be a fantastic addition to Netflix. Shauna Joesten

Fun spin on the post outbreak world.

I really enjoyed this story. Instead of following the route of a lot of post outbreak / apocalyptic stories this one follows a young researcher on a quest to cure the incurable. The virus that killed so many also left a very small few alive but changed. They were alive and yet they could never be free because they were still highly contagious. The virus was so unstable that researchers couldn't even work with the strain....until now. The story is more young adult than I typically read but the characters didn't feel young or immature they just happens to have a younger age and at the same time this story was clean and could be appropriate for younger readers as well. I thought the narration was great and that the story flowed nicely. I definitely can't wait to listen to the next one.

I absolutely loved this book! Thank you so much Krista Street. I couldn't wait to get in the car just so I could listen to this book. I laughed and smiled and cried as I listened. The narrator did a fantastic job as well.

This is a must

I absolutely loved this audio book! The story line was great snd well thought out. The back stories on characters was impeccable. This story sucks you in right away and its hard to put it down so you can ‘adult.’ The narrator was spot on. A great choice. She brought this book to life. I can’t wait to listen to the next book!

Ooh, Impressive!

I was excited to start these, but the names weren't doing me any favors. I normally don't care about similar titles, but these were a bit disconcerting and confusing...possibly why I found this series a bit daunting to start...(Yeah, I just did.) But I did, and wow, I was in for a wild ride, and loved it! Once I started the names take on a little more meaning, and don't seem to frightening, and I really enjoyed the story and characters, the narration was well done, and I couldn't wait to read (listen) to more of the story!

Compound 26

This takes place after the Makanza virus ravaged the country in its second wave. Follow Megan along her journey at the MRI to help discover a vaccine for the virus and learn about the survivors known as Kazzis. I enjoyed this dystopian tale which has a romance developing in the mist.

Compound 26

This book starts 6 years after the second wave happened. It is told from Meghan's POV. Meghan is the youngest PHD that has been hired to try and find a cure to the virus. She gets assigned to Davin's group. She is forced to enter Davin's cell to get to know him so he will give a willing sample of his DNA. Feelings start to form a bond between Meghan and Davin. She now will stop at nothing to find a cure and help the infected people get released. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Worryingly good!

The thing I love about this is how it could happen really. Maybe not the changes the Kassies make but the destruction that diseases could cause. Written in a hopeful and thoughtful way, Krista has shown how life could change in a instant.

Brilliant series

I loved the book when I read it and was thrilled to receive a code from the author for the audio book. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the audio book. I'm still not 100% keen on the way the male voices are sounded. I did find they all sounded too alike. But it was still really enjoyable and the narrator did put alot of feeling into the main character so you believe she was Megan. Personally I wish there could be male and female narrator's in each book but it's not possible due to cost. Even so I would highly recommend reading or listening to this series.

Absolutely fantastic!

This is the second book in the series and it is absolutely fantastic! This is a well written and detailed story with the building characters and there back stories. This story had my emotions all over the place. I got sucked into the story from the beginning and I had a hard time putting it down to go to work. The narrator for the story was well chosen, she has the perfect inflection when telling the stories. Vanessa has a brilliant way with bringing the characters and their emotions to life. I think she does a fantastic job with the characters and I can’t wait for more she narrator’s. I definitely recommend this book. I also can’t wait for more books in this series to come out on audible. Once again I think this book is Magnificent!!!!
