Story
There's nothing quite so beautiful as Paris in the spring; and when you add in the chance to learn the French way of food, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, who can resist? Not Gabi Picabea or Kate Evans who have come from Australia to Sylvie Morel's Paris Cooking School. Both are at a crossroads, and learning to cook the French way in Paris, far away from all their troubles, seems like the perfect escape. For each of the women, that extraordinary April in Paris will bring unexpected twists and transformations that will change the course of their lives.

Story
What is the Rachel incident? When Rachel falls in love with her married professor, Dr. Byrne, her best friend James helps her devise a plan to seduce him. But as the plot becomes increasingly complicated, their friendship is tested by impossible choices and a lie that can't be taken back. Chaotic and brilliantly funny, The Rachel Incident perfectly captures the turmoil of young love.

Young adult book that's a cut above most
Realistic but also optimistic. Good story with believable and likeable characters. Good to find a book that deals with loss. Love the Australian accent of the narrator, who does a good job of portraying the different characters.

Great Summer listen
Listened this over the Christmas holiday break, super easy to follow, explored how this book explores all the ugly emotions like grief, jealousy and pettiness in a way that is so relatable and comforting. Absolutely loved Natalia Morris’s narration.
