Publisher's Summary

Would you like to make a big step into the world of technology and computer networking? Have you ever thought about working as a network technician and dive deeper into IT? Or maybe you just want to learn the most important things about computer networking and then make decisions?

This book will give you all the answers, so just keep reading...

We are very excited to represent our most recent product: Comp Tia Network+: The Ultimate Beginners Guide to Learn Basic Networking Components for CompTIA Network + Certification.

The vast majority of people these days have nothing to do with the constantly growing technology industry or computer networking. But some people notice that without that every else falls apart and will not function in the near future. Science and technology will cover as much as food and water money wise a couple of decades from now, so it is really important for you to have at least the basic knowledge of IT in order to go together with the world's economy.

CompTIA Network+ is an entry-level certificate that has been created to measure the skills of a network technician. Furthermore, in light of the fact that the Network+ certification is expansive and it covers the whole field of systems administration, experts need this certification rather than just Microsoft or Novell, for instance. Along these lines, it very well may be a test to prepare for the Network+ test.

Let’s take a look at a few things you will get out of this book:

  • Network fundamentals
  • OSI model master guide
  • Understanding of major network operating systems
  • How to install and upgrade a network?
  • Everything you need to know about security systems
  • Complete Network+ certificate preparation
  • Summary of each operation system
  • Much more…

Is this book going to prepare me for the Network+ test completely? Does this book have more than basic knowledge? Is this book more like a step-up towards bigger and greater skills of IT?

CompTIA Network+ is a complete guide for Network+ certification. It has all the basic knowledge that is required to pass the test.

More than that, next to each specific component and network system we put extra important information that is required for a little higher level certificates so for people who want to learn more, this guide is a perfect choice.

It is a step up toward greater and more advanced skills but as mentioned before this guide has more than enough information for complete beginners who are looking just for a Network+ certificate.

Now that you understand the importance of science and technology, it is your turn to take action.

Poorly Translated

You wouldn't necessarily detect it only listening to the book's preview, but this sounds like something which was translated into English and never really proofread. Why a narrator, upon seeing the script, would agree to read it anyhow, I have absolutely no idea.

Slight language barrier

Translation issues. Logical is "intelligent." Device is "gadget." Quite a few random words. You can follow it, but the errors are distracting.

Translated badly.

This would be quite a nice basic overview except that it is translated into English without any concept of correct connotation. At times laughable, at times difficult to understand. You will spend too much time trying to figure out what is actually

Poorly written, read by a bot.

This book was obviously not written by a native English speaker, and was not proofread at all. I listened to ten minutes of it and that's all I could take. There seems to be a slew of these books written by someone with an English sounding name, but the content is clearly not written by a native speaker. Very frustrating to listen to, returned for a credit refund.

I now feel confident to take this test and pass it. Tried Mike Meyers audiobook at first, but he tends to go off-topic a bit. This audiobook helps!!!

Out of date!! Sooo out of date!

Please don't buy/read/consume this book or audiobook It talks of Windows 95 and 98. Pentium 2 servers and lists ethernet cabling that ends at CAT 6. Do not waste your time!

Helpful, but...

I already had a considerable amount of network engineering experience, along with decent exposure to security concepts and best practices going into this, so your mileage may vary. If you're completely new to all of this stuff you're probably going to want more than just this book to prepare for the exam.
