What will Reid say when she shows up unannounced in St. Kitts, looking to reclaim their lost love? And what will Jack, Kate's father, have to say when he hears she's gone back to her first love, a man Jack once considered a friend? And what do you think will happen when Jill Harrington, Kate's sister, attorney, and manager, faces off with Ashton Matthews, Reid's son, the same man who made life miserable for Kate many years ago?

The sparks will fly when the Harrington, Matthews, and O'Malley families gather in Nashville for a Christmas none of them will ever forget!

Great Story

As with the three preceding novels on this series, I really enjoyed listening to Kate and Reid’s story. Another difficult area with a love story between a young woman and a man 28 years her senior but Marie handled it very well. It was great to see all the main characters resolve their differences and become one big happy family. If only real relationships could be fixed like that! The narration was good apart from some differences in sound quality. Great story! Now I’m ready for Maggie’s story coming in April 2020!

Outstanding

I have fallen in love with these characters and have read this series 3x now: the age difference never freaked me out. The love they had was true and made me believe. The writing was amazing. The switch in the reader was unsettling in one chapter and I’m glad it wasn’t long because the reader did no justice to Reed!

was very disappointed

I really struggled to finish this book The Others in the series or fairly good but this one is like she ran out of things to write and it was nothing but sex sex and sex I don't mind a little bit of that in a book cuz I know it's a romance that was severely disappointed in this most of her books I love

Great Series

I loved the book and the series of stories. I really liked the narrator but on like chapter 16, someone else stayed narrating with no warning. I did not like that.

Coming Home

After being introduced to Reed and Kate in Marking Time, I wanted to listen to this audio. These two were a very unlikely couplehood, and many will have issues with their age difference. I, too, found it uncomfortable, but I so liked them together. Reed was great for Kate, and I was so glad that she matured since Marking Time.

Issues: 1- I wasn't crazy that the ending seemed sudden. I think I would have preferred a small epilogue that took place a few months/years later. 2- And this was a big one: Holly Fielding did a wonderful job of narrating the books in this series. But for some reason, there is one chapter (I think it was chapter 16 or 17) where is is NOT her narrating. It was so random right in the middle. Holly did a wonderful job with the southern accent, but this new narrator made the southern accent sound very caribbean and it was annoying; maybe this narrator was caribbean, I don't know. Thankfully, it was only for one chapter because I was going to scrap the rest of this audio.

Bad narrator

Starting on chapter 15 I think the narrator changed or the current narrator changed voices fie the characters. They were so bad I couldn't finish.

Bad Narration

Usually I enjoy this narrator, however this is book is not her best piece of work. The story was good but it would have been more enjoyable with better narration.

Story excellent

Having read the book the story by Marie force is excellent. How’re the quality of the recording not so good. At the beginning in normal speed it was to fast and slowing it down far too slow. There could also be a slight pause when skipping from one set of characters to another as this would make the recording more enjoyable.
