my new favoirite author

the vibe in this book is beautiful, the women are strong and loving, the FMC is so relatably depressed (and autistic?), the mystery is intriguing and the setting is perfect... the love interest is a little annoying. not so much that I don't love the book, but enough to make me roll my eyes at what straight women put up with (I prefer a more smitten man).

still a relaxing and sweet read (and reread).

Slow to start but over all I thought it was a good story with some great characters. The Narrator was fabulous.
