Publisher's Summary

Do you or someone you know struggle to release their connection with a person that is only causing heartache and pain? If this question relates to you in any way, then continue reading.

Codependency is a behavioral condition that can happen in many different relationships where one half enables the other person in their negative habits. This could be under-achieving, being irresponsible, acting immature, and addictions. This creates big problems for both parties involved. But the biggest problem tends to be that the codependent person doesn’t even realize anything is wrong.

The codependent gives and gives to the other person until they have nothing left to give. They are causing themselves to be worn down in order to "help" the other person, but the fact is, they aren’t really helping. They are simply allowing the other person to act in a negative manner that they have always behaved. The codependent simply makes excuses in the hopes that the person will change.

Change can only happen once the codependent realizes that things need to change, and that’s what this audiobook is here to help with. The information is here to help you realize the problems with codependency and how to overcome them so that you can live a healthy life.

You will learn:

  • What codependency really means
  • The history of codependency
  • How it negatively affects everybody involved
  • How to spot a codependent relationship
  • The best way to get out of a codependent relationship
  • And much more

Now, I understand that you may have a few objections. You’re probably thinking that this is going to be hard, or you couldn’t possibly remove that relationship. All of these thoughts are valid, and I won’t sugar coat this and say it is going to be as simple as saying, "Bye." It will be hard. And the other person will likely hate it more than you, possibly causing more problems. But this audiobook will teach you how to overcome this. You will be guided step-by-step through the possible problems you could face. It will take time, but you can do this.

I know you want to live a full life and fulfill things that you have always dreamed of, and that’s why I’m certain you can work through your codependent relationship.

Quick Listen... Helpful Book

I’m just at the beginning but I want to leave a review anyway cause I found particularly interesting the part where the author describes all the different kinds of codependency… is very easy for people to just put a label on us, ignoring the fact that codependency is actually something very complex and not everyone is the same, at all.

This is an exceptionally instructive manual.

This is an exceptionally instructive manual. This book examines the theme of codependency, Many individuals battle for quite a long time to relinquish their codependency, I listen this book a portion of the sections I can know a considerable lot of things, similar to The seriousness of codependency and its effect on people, The genuine "guilty party" who is at fault for your codependency and so forth. The listening extremely clear and well composition. I like this book.

The book introduces a concept called mindful relationships. Finding a balance between intimacy and non attachment is probably some of the best-hitting relationship advice I've heard. Highly recommended.

Wow, rethinking my relationships.

Wow, rethinking my relationships. I never realized how detrimental it can be to have low self-growth and awareness in a relationship. I need to be spending more time by myself, independently of my wife. Thank you to the listen for opening my eyes and giving me the knowledge to improve my marriage.

Recommend this book.

Such a magnificent and viable read on narcissistic maltreatment recuperation. Perusing the book demonstrated to me that she would be the ideal manual for leading me through the dinky dull waters of my subliminal lastly discharge the phantoms of my mind that had driven me more than once into the arms of narcissists.. I was raised under the dim skies of a dark star and I'm am beginning to sparkle so splendidly you just may require shades to associate with me!

Excellent to listen

This guidebook will also spend some time bringing up other topics that have to do with being in a relationship with a narcissist as well as narcissistic abuse. I was truly flabbergasted by seeing what number of basic suggestions collected in such a short book. Maker finished an incredible action.

Guide to Save Relationships

I am re-listening this excellent book after almost 30 years. I thought I had learned to manage my co-dependence but still need help. Guess I will always be a work in progress. Authors book has done a great service to countless women (and men) who have a need to fix everything, take responsibility, care for others without regard to their own cost of caring.

Very educational self help book

I absolutely loved this book. I already knew I was codependent when I started listening this book but I have learned so much more about codependency and it explained how I felt and i was able to recognize some of my habitual behaviors. Some chapters are hard to read because you are recognizing some of this behavior in yourself and others and it’s very hard to look in the mirror but I kept listening the book.
