Agree that the storyline in this book isn’t as engaging as some of the previous ones, but overall it’s still worth buying.

Don’t agree that this narrator isn’t as good as George Guidall. I love George’s voice and he’s probably a lovely man, but he makes every character sound like a 70 year old chain-smoker. In his narrations, Scott Coleman now sounds exactly like Stan Hurley used to!! Not like I picture hot, mid-40’s special forces men to sound. Also, Steven Weber can do passable French and Russian accents. Not everyone sounds like they’re from the Middle East. Maybe Americans can’t tell the difference, no offence.

Another thing, I liked that he didn’t pause in the story-telling to get his breath. I often find that really distracting.

So anyway, I like Steven Weber and would buy another Mitch Rapp book if he’s reading it.

good story but absolutely devastated that George Guidall did not narrate the book. It really detracts from the story, almost that the new narrator wasn't actually putting effort into the story or a fan of Vince Flynn

Arguably, the best Mitch Rapp saga to date; complex, compassionate, and thoroughly entertaining. Bravo, team!

There's a limit to what you can do after 25 books or so though it is getting old. You can tell Mitch is evolving as a character still though and there was a lot of reflection on his younger life and I would look forward to having Mitch take on a role like Stan did in American Assassin and 'pass the torch'.

Thank goodness for this narrator. He is so much more listenable than George Guidall. His speech is clear and precise. The story improves markedly because of the better telling.
