Publisher's Summary

First published in 1813, this is Jane Austen's most popular novel. It portrays life in the genteel rural society of the day, and tells of the initial misunderstandings and later mutual enlightenment between the lively and quick-witted Elizabeth Bennet and the proud and haughty Fitzwilliam Darcy.

pride and predjudice

Like entering another world, so formal and proper. I enjoyed this, and looked forward to hearing more.

Terrific Book

Is a wonderful story by Jane Austen and the narration is great. You really get into the story.

Huge fan

I first fell in love with this book in high school and the low price of this audio book tempted me to purchase it. It is hard not to feel involved in Elizabeth's world, dancing at the ball, avoiding her brainless cousin, falling for Mr.Darcy. My only complaint is that I did not feel the narrator did the story justice. I wish they had chosen someone else.
