Publisher's Summary

Simon has spent the last six months hunting Incarnations, and he has begun to realize that his power alone won’t be enough to stop a true enemy. To stand against the Incarnation of Elysia, he needs a deeper connection to the House of Blades.

Leah is queen over a nation of refugees, driven from their homes by the fury of Territories gone mad.

Alin rules his city with an iron fist, imposing the virtues of Elysia on an imperfect population.

Now, the three must stand united as the balance of the world shifts once more. A greater threat looms, and it has made its presence known....

The Incarnations are missing.

Chains wrapping round his neck

The territories collide again in this third book as characters align themselves for and against the king, while also battling their own inner demons. My biggest complaint would be that by the end of this trilogy, so much seems unsaid with some character relationships that once seemed so pivotal and obvious seemingly fading away not be mentioned again. I hope this story continues.. a fantastic listen, and well worth the listen.

This book had potential

The story just grew to be mediocre. The author is also the reader and it took a while to get to the fastest most abrupt ending I have encountered. If you truly are bored and have nothing else to read and spare credits. Go for it otherwise. Hard pass on this . You're welcome

WHAT THE FUCK THIS IS SO SHIT

The mc became the most powerful person in the world then he kneels before the kingdom that killed his family just because his crush is now the ruler. This is the stupidest shit I have read in my entire life. This is what I would expect to form a book that was meant for a 2-year-old. when you are overpowered you should always listen to someone weaker than you because they are more important than you in the hierarchy. I hate this book so much it had so much potential however, the way the mc became a fucking dog... I hate this story so much and I hope you do too.

Was expecting something less. Happy surprise.

Don't let that headline fool you. I absolutely freakin loved the Cradle series. A lot. I've read it several times through. It's amazing. I want to read the sea and shadow thing he has as well, but it's not on Audible yet so I can't. My eyes suck. So I seen this series. Didn't take the plunge until recently because I seen that the author narrated it and I was scared it would suck. It doesn't. He has a Wil Wheaton thing going on. If you're reading this Wight you should listen to that guys stuff and take how he does emotional moments. That's the only thing I think Mr. Wight lacked a bit of. He just didn't emote as well as I think he really can. That isn't something he does that is worth taking points for though. When I first started the series I almost quit because I didn't like the "magic" system at all. Don't like summoning. At all. The user has no power. Just the things they summon. Very distasteful. For me. Glad I stayed with it. They aren't really summoners so I would have quit for no reason. This series is wonderful and I really hope he puts out all his others on Audible as well because so far everything this man has written is gold. Seriously really good stuff that is more than worth the money or credit.

good final book in the trilogy

The story overall is very good. The narration is way better than the first book and a little better than the second. I really enjoyed the ending but some of the middle was a little hard and a little of the end, was a bit hard to follow. Too many names of characters with little introduction made it sort of confusing to understand who was fighting who. It's still definitely worth listening to and since I've already listened to all of Cradle(if you haven't buy it right now!!!) I'll be trying to find more books from this author!

Would like more.

Good overall story and a interesting main character. Takes the “chosen one “ plot line in a unique and enjoyable way.

The trilogy ends well and I don’t know if the author plans to do more stories with these characters or universe. If he does I’m definitely interested.

Only weak point is the narration. While not bad per say, the author doesn’t do different voices for characters too well. Every once in awhile I would forget who was talking or thinking in the story.

Great 3 book series

Very good series. Quickly comes together. Creates a fabric and leaves so much room for more while giving you an ending.
Very Happy with every Wight series.

A truly imaginative series

This trilogy is a great ride from start to finish. Engaging characters, crazy locations, and one of my favorite magic systems. (Also incarceration is one of the coolest concepts for magic system, as well as a story aspect)

I can’t recommend this book series enough.

Thanks will.

Amazing Story, I enjoyed it start to finish.

I love the character development and the twists and turns of the story. If you enjoy Brandon Sanderson then you'll love this book. Pure Fantasy genius.

aw man

I didn't want the series to end. I got way too enveloped into it! Great work though.
