About this listen

Shadowhunters and demons square off for the final showdown in the spellbinding, seductive conclusion to the #1 New York Times bestselling Mortal Instruments series.

Darkness has descended on the Shadowhunter world. Chaos and destruction overwhelm the Nephilim as Clary, Jace, Simon, and their friends band together to fight the greatest evil they have ever faced: Clary's own brother. Sebastian Morgenstern is on the move, systematically turning Shadowhunter against Shadowhunter. Bearing the Infernal Cup, he transforms Shadowhunters into creatures of nightmare, tearing apart families and lovers as the ranks of his Endarkened army swell. Nothing in this world can defeat Sebastian—but if they journey to the realm of demons, they just might have a chance...

Why can't we keep the same the narrators through the entire series!
The narration of this book didn't match the previous one and I couldn't adjust to it the entire time like I would with most other books.
I might be wrong about this but a British accent was used for people that had lived in New York and it threw me off as well.

If you haven't read it before, don't purchase until they fix the issue. At a crucial part of the story, it cuts off mid-sentence and skips to the next chapter. I turned to my hard copy to see what I'd missed and it was several pages! The same issue is present when streaming on another platform, so I know it isn't a glitch with my download.

The end of one chapter is cut off. So you’re left wondering what happened in edom. Which is the major twist in the story.

The accent of the female author through me and didn’t fit there also a male reader and I found it disorienting that the way the changed between the two readers as it wasn’t even characters based and had no reason for the two readers.

The main resolve was completely skipped and therefore made it hard to fill the story there after. Extremely frustrating and disappointing to have such a major part of the book missing on the final book in this series!

I’m not sure what happened but it jumped a few times and I missed big sections of the story
