If you haven't read it before, don't purchase until they fix the issue. At a crucial part of the story, it cuts off mid-sentence and skips to the next chapter. I turned to my hard copy to see what I'd missed and it was several pages! The same issue is present when streaming on another platform, so I know it isn't a glitch with my download.

The end of one chapter is cut off. So you’re left wondering what happened in edom. Which is the major twist in the story.

The accent of the female author through me and didn’t fit there also a male reader and I found it disorienting that the way the changed between the two readers as it wasn’t even characters based and had no reason for the two readers.

The main resolve was completely skipped and therefore made it hard to fill the story there after. Extremely frustrating and disappointing to have such a major part of the book missing on the final book in this series!

The story is great, as far as I can follow, as the production of the audio book is faulty, missing sections and just continuing on with the reader not knowing what happened to key characters prior to the next chapter.

This is meant to be unabridged but I just listened to the audio book's chapter 26 which ends on a cut-off word, then misses an important part of the story. Chapter 27 moves on and doesn't make sense as I don't know what happened to one of the main characters. This is obviously a technical fault. I thought my download may be faulty but just listened to it directly from the internet and the same chunk of story is missing!

Is there another version of this book to swap with? I'll keep listening to the end as the story is good, but its very disappointing not being able to read the whole story, when key characters make important decisions and its just missing.

Also the change between two narrators makes no sense. The male and female narrators each read the words of the same characters and it makes for confusing listening chopping and changing between narrators, especially as the male narrator is American and the female narrator is English.

Audio book production is poor and shouldn't have been published without an editing check, which would have picked up the missing sections. I can cope with the odd swapping between narrators.

two chapters stopped short before they were finished and the story stopped mid sentence so the story is missing sections. The story does not explain how they get out of deem ad it cuts out when demon is taking to Magnus. I would like a refund.

This book is incredible and I would have finished it last week, but the audio for Chapter 26 (book Chapter 23) was cut off early and left me so confused in the next chapter. I thought I missed a whole chapter so I went back and re-listened, skipping what I could recall. I tried to keep listening but I was missing information so I stopped it and aimed to find my physical copy of the book at home to see if I missed anything. Chapter 23 (book) shows the audio is cut off on page 635 (book) 2/3 down the page at 'Through her tears Clary...'. Super disappointed this happened and felt like I was going crazy like I missed something! Please look at correcting this for other listeners as this was very frustrating.

This serise is a lot of fun, the story and narration is great but i honestly can not believe that they have this released without fixing the missing parts of chapter 23 (there were others) this is the climatic chapter. Horrific quilty control and a complete lack of customer care as i am clearly not the first person to mention this issue going by the other reviews here.

Thank god I read these before so that I wasn’t too confused when they skipped at least a whole chapter. And not just any one. One when a main character basically dies. This recording needs to be redone!!!
