I have taken so much joy and fulfilment from the City of Glass that I can’t quite explain it. I have quite literally developed emphatic relationships with a lot of the characters and genuinely feel for them as the story unfolds. The in-depth world building and story development is incredible, I am so grateful to Cassandra Clare for this masterpiece!
I cannot wait to begin the fourth book in this amazing series, although I can’t imagine what lies ahead. Now that Clarry and Jase aren’t related and are together, Jocelyn and Luke admitted they love each other, Simon is moving his best life as a vampire, and Valentine is dead… what could possibly be next?! I CAN’T WAIT!!

I think in the noughties when this came out I would have adored it, but it lacks something that books these days have and I just don't know what it is.
I actually find Simon so irritating and almost story ruining.
I did enjoy the nostaglia that this brought me with very nineties/noughties slang, actions and things.
