Publisher's Summary
A ghost collector grows deadlier than the spirits he hunts....
Shane Ryan knows all about pain and suffering. A retired Marine gunnery sergeant, Shane has seen the worst humanity has to offer. He survived his ordeal, but his soul has been tainted by the darkness, leaving him with a permanent connection to the world of the supernatural.
Shane sees the spirits of the dead. He hears their whispered cries of pain. And it’s a gift he plans to put to good use, when he travels to Detroit to investigate the death of one woman who saw through all the darkness in his heart. A woman who became his lover, many years ago.
Shane is certain she was working a case, tracking down a deadly collector of the paranormal. And he’s determined to use his abilities to force the spirits haunting the urban sprawl to reveal her killer. But when he clashes with retired police detective Enoch Liddell, Shane realizes he’s not the only one hunting ghosts.
The two men soon find themselves locked in a supernatural game of cat and mouse. But it will take more than guts and guns to defeat this opponent, and his sinister ally....

Ghost Hunter
I absolutely loved this book. So glad Shane Ryan is back and doing what he is the best at destroying evil ghosts. He leaves his home to Detroit after receiving email from friend and ex-lover, Mack and finds her and her husband was killed and meets Detective Jacinta Perez. He seeks revenge and also makes friend in the cemetery. Thank you Ron cannot wait until next book. Recommend if you enjoy ghost stories and violence with good narration

Shane is back and better than ever!
When Shane gets an email from an ex lover and an old Marine buddy about murder she is stringing together and wants his help he is more than willing to give it unfortunately before he can make it there she and her husband are murdered so once again for poor Shanes this is personal. It seems everyone saying loves gets murdered and then this book Shanes seems to become even more human if that’s at all possible. I love this book as I do most Ron Ripley box, but I must say we get to see a side of shame but we’ve seen before but it is more in depth and I feel Ron Ripley is really opening sign up to be the great man we all know he is. Great job Ron Ripley and of course Tom Bowers the best narrator ever

Yet another haunting masterpiece
What can I say other then I'm convinced. Shane Ryan is the first character since John Cleaver series that I have absolutely enjoyed so much I'm starting the 11th book where Shane is a leading role. if your thinking of getting this book I'd recommend first getting The Berkley Street Series. I cant wait for more from Ron Ripleys character development of Shane Ryan.
