Book great but voices..

Struggling with listening to the 4th book in the series, voices no where near as good as the previous books and many pronunciations of words and names specific to the books are not aligned to previous books.

Two voices. One story

Having two voices was a perfect way to tell this story. The fourth book follows both Clary and Simon and to have the distinction in the story by having a female and male voice made it easy to follow. Loved it

Nice story but...

I enjoyed the next instalment of the saga but I did not enjoy the male narrator. His speech and accent were not clear enough to be able to listen to his chapters with earphones in noisy environments like trains, city streets etc.

Easy Listening

I decided to get an audible account after YouTube was crunching my downloads. As the first book I have listened to in full as my free book, i loved it. I am a fan of the TV series, and read the first three chapters on my own and found i was falling asleep whilst reading (Not because the book was bad). Its very easy to listen to even between both male and female speakers. Some of the words are pronounced different but that's a given with every language/ environment.
the speakers give life to the characters and Cassandra is very good at giving a perspective into this world. I'm So in love with the series all ready .
very happy.

Amazing book

The book is amazing. I read the physical book as a teenager but got the audio book to listen to again as an adult. I’ve found every single female narrator for this series so far to be awful, however this female
Author is the worst I have ever heard. Her voice is so whiney and she can’t differentiate between characters and pronounces all the authors words like stele and alacante etc completely wrong. Ed wear wick was good.

However doing one chapter by one narrator and then change to the other for every single chapter. Drove me insane

The 2 narrators are not in sync

The male narrator is great but the female narrator doesn't have a lot of distinction between characters.

Great story, bad narration

Narration of female voice actor was hard to get by. It was like she has a cold throughout the narration.

Mispronunciation of key words super frustrating

Mispronunciation of key words super frustrating.
The Male narrator was fantastic, but the female could have done some more research into the series in order to keep fluency with the other books. Other than that, enjoyed the story itself very much. 😁👍

Fantastic story, a horrendous narration

The only reason I kept and listened to the book until the end was the story. If I wasn't so interested in the development, I would have returned the book after the first chapter. For me, this was the worst narrated book I have ever experienced. I was extremely disappointed in both male and female voices. Male narration couldn't have been more 'flat' and female gave the impression she was eight years old and about to start crying at any point.
