No secret stays buried forever....

In London, the snow is falling and Christmas is just around the corner - but Allegra Fisher barely has time to notice. She's pitching for the biggest deal of her career and can't afford to fail. And when she meets attractive stranger Sam Kemp on the plane to the meeting, she can't afford to lose her focus either. She learned to shut off her emotions long ago, and only her sister and best friend Isobel knows why. But when Allegra finds herself up against Sam for the bid, their passion quickly turns sour.

In Zermatt in the Swiss Alps, a long-lost mountain hut is discovered in the snow after 60 years and the last person expecting to become involved is Allegra - she hasn't even heard of the woman they found inside. But it soon becomes clear the two women are linked and, as she and Iz travel out to make sense of the mystery, hearts thaw and dark secrets are uncovered, long buried by the snow.

With glamorous locations and heart-breaking twists, Christmas in the Snow by Karen Swan is all you need in your stocking for a truly decadent Christmas holiday. The perfect gift - even if it's just to yourself.

Bittersweet

Actually this was a very good story however it was not the heart warming Christmas story I was expecting. The highs were great but the lows were too bleak and realistic for me at the moment when I was expecting more warm comforting snow peaked escapism.

🎄🎄Heart Warning Christmassy Story 🎄🎄

Another heart warming story from Karen Swan. Romance Mystery Twists and Turns. Some lovely settings and destinations described. The narrator was spot on for the story with some great accents. This would make a wonderful “made for tv” Christmas Movie. Unlike some seen actually on TV full of cheesy story lines 😆

Captivating story

This is one of the best audiobooks I’ve purchased!! I couldn’t stop listening to it and the narrator read it beautifully. I sometimes listen to the books again after a period of time but listened to this one again as soon as it finished. Great story and imagery.

Easy listening and great story.

A lovely tale of love and romance, light hearted and nice to listen to on the way to work. Would definitely recommend, especially if you like authors like Marian Keyes.

I couldn’t put it down.

This story has more twists and turns than the most challenging ski run and is totally unpredictable. It also has all the warmth and delight of the best of family Christmases without overt sentimentality. I will definitely read another Karen Swan book

A twisting love story filled with intrigue

I adored this book. It had me scratching my head in a few moments, it made me smile or utterly outraged at the audacity of some characters. The love story is prevalant throughout over bumpy beginnings, rivalry and betrayal. The through story about family and the intrigue of their heritage is wonderfully crafted and pirouettes between joyous moments and malevolence. It made my heart swell. I highly recommend this book.

Wonderful story

I love all Karen Swan’s books but I think think this is the best. The narrator was spot on with all the characters and accents. It had so many twists that kept me interested and it was a real feel good book. I’ll definitely listen to this one again soon.
