Entertaining

I found myself laughing quit a bit while listening to this audio book. It is essentially about Dorian and Clay ending up in a cooking competition. A highly amusing short story in the series.

Need to Have Listened to the Series

I grabbed this short story, due to the time of year. It is very short and there is not much plot. After looking into it, it is part of a series. I think this would mean much more if I had listened to the series. I know in other series I have read, I love little novellas like this. I am sure that is the same for people who know adn love this series. Angela Dawe does a fabulous job with the voices.

TERRIBLE NARRATOR

Oh, just so bad... monotone I couldn't even stand to listen long enough to write this.

what?

There was nothing here. People baked cookies and looked at their mates. The narrator's voice was dire.

Christmas in the Kitchen

What a sweet little short for us all to enjoy and fall even more in love with all these characters. The narration even though it is by the same narrator was a little different.. But still lovely.

A fun little freebie from the author / publisher

A short story set at Dorian's home. Ashaya is baking Christmas goodies with Keenan and Dorian when visitors come calling. Holiday merriment ensues. No real plot and nothing very meaningful is said, but nonetheless the camaraderie is delightful, as always.

Thank you for the gift!

(Admittedly, I opened it long before Christmas.)

A peek inside Dorian/ Ashaya house.

A nice 20 minute teaser to get me in the mood for more from the Psy-Changling world that is coming out next week. Thanks audible for the freebie.

A wonderful moment for love

If you need a moment of time to uplift and just smile this short story is perfect for that task. I could smell the cookies, cakes and hear the murmur of voices and laughter. And recognize them in my own memories.

Narration ok

Story is a good short story. Nice to get a little glimpse back at previous couples. The narrator does great when voicing characters speaking, but the rest of the narration is nasally and fast pace. I had to double check that I wasn’t listening at accelerated speed.

sweet little short

Small slice of life with lots of couples and their kids. Icing treats for the party turns into a party itself. Everyone that stole a taste early had to pitch in to finish the delicious replacements. 😊

Awful narration

The story's alright - not fantastic, not terrible - but the narration is truly awful. I had to turn the volume up to be able to hear the dialogue which is recorded at much loerr level than the almost shouty main narration. The narrator rrads too fsst and her intonation feels rrally unnatural. Ruined the story for me

Lots of characters

First Psi book I've heard although I have read them all non have been available in the UK on Audible. I loved it although only a short book and free (thank you) this was an excellent book to start with. The narrator was fabulous so many different voices as it was filled with so many of the characters and she was great really brought the story to life. I would buy the entire series if it was available.

Probably works if you know the series

I can't remember why I bought this as I don't know the series. The writing and reading were ok but it is about 20 minutes of not very much really. Perhaps meant for the series followers.

Interesting, but not what I was expecting

I don't remember why I downloaded this short story, as it was some time ago (last Christmas or the one before) and I had no idea what it was about or what the author writes.

I only listened to this because I'm between books and it was on my unlistened to list and short, I'm pleasantly surprised and will be looking at more books in the series, partly because I'm confused as to the characters (and the cat thing) but also because I enjoyed it. Not badly written and a good narration...

I hope I won't be disappointed by the other books
