Publisher's Summary

This book tells four important stories from the Bible, presented in a bedtime story format that is age-appropriate and easy for younger children to understand and read for themselves as they get older.

The stories include that of Samuel the Prophet as the Ark returns to Israel and Israel recovers from the Philistine attack. then we have the story of how Samuel the prophet helps Israel crown its first king, Saul. Finally we have the story of Jacob and Esau. How Esau gives his birthright to Jacob when he is hungry, and then how Isaac blesses Jacob, then we follow Jacobs adventures after he flees before the brothers are finally reunited years later.

This is a great way to educate younger children on the important stories of the Bible and God's Christian teachings.
