Wonderful

A wonderful story, beautifully performed by Sir Ian. I say "performed" because he does so much more than simply read the book. The story is well paced, and easy to follow. Highly recommend this to pre teens, teens and adults alike.

Fantastic!

One of my favourite books from childhood- was surprised to see it on here! But when I saw sir Ian McKellen was the narrator? I clicked buy fast af.

Excellent performance, excellent story. Excellent series. It has been and will remain a beloved favourite.

Abundance of suspense. Very dark and gritty from the beginning to the end. Wonderful imagery portrayed of the primitive setting.

Incredible story telling.

Sir Ian had us on the edge of our seat! Incredible story telling and the way he voiced every character differently blew us away. Perfect way to spend a road trip 👌
