Well written! Greatly read.

My son & I thoroughly enjoyed the story. Thank you. The story is good, kept our attention, with action, honesty and empathy. Very well written with beautiful words chosen. And the reading or narration, was perfectly done.

Recommended by an 8yr old

Lovely messages on tolerance, friendships and prejudice. Listened to the story on a long car trip in Australia with an 8yr old. Asked him for the scores. The language helped to take us to another place and felt like from another time. It introduced unfamiliar words to the 8yr old, he didn't mind and said he had no problem understanding the story.

So so good!

Wonderful story, funny and uplifting, and Anton Lesser is brilliant - he is one of best narrators I’ve ever listened to. He’s a very great actor, which makes him a talented and fun narrator.

An oldie but a goodie.

Loved this original tale with a twist. A sometimes annoying baddie who we sympathise with and cheer on. Lots of fun and all brought to life by a very talented narrator.

Good

The narrator was very good. It was amusingly British. Clean-cut. A fun book for kids.
