Great read love the narration
I loved the narrator of this book. I've already read the whole series, but the audiobook is a different experience. I'd recommend Skulduggery Pleasant to younger and older readers alike, although as the series goes on the books do become more mature, kind of like Harry Potter does.

I absolutely adore this book
Out of all of the books I think this is the funniest. I have no idea why ai find it so funny. It just is, I completely agree with Stephanie I could listen to Skullduggery’s voice all day.
I have only gotten up to Kingdom of The Wicked and then stopped after I got to Carol’s chapter cause I know sje ends up dying. I have a very much loved copy of Playing With Fire.
I absolutely love the blurb on the back of the frist book. Its the best. This was a wonderful book and I love it and will very likely read it many more times in the future.

Witty and Funny
Narration is awesome and the story is fast paced and will keep you listening for hours! Not bad for teen readers either.

Classic Book For All Ages
Recommend by a friend and wasn't disappointed! The narrator is Irish, like the protagonist. AWESOME!!!

Great book, somewhat lacking in terms of narration
Love the humour of the Skulduggery series, and the story is compelling. Not so sure about the narration though. Don't appreciate that all the female characters all sound weepy when stressed throughout. The crying voices do not match the impressions we got from the books and it just seems like the narrator does not have the ability to portray a non-weepy stressed woman.

Pleasantly surprised!
Ok so i’ve been reading books that i’ve read in the past for nostalgia’s sake and i’m really surprised to see how good this book still is! First of all i don’t hate the protagonists!! They don’t make stupid mistakes purely as a plot device ( although the other supporting characters actions can be called into question ). I liked the dynamic between the two protagonists and it was actually had some funny and smart dialogue, if it was being cringy it was deliberate and the characters would acknowledge it. Looking forward to devouring another series! And can we talk about the narrator! he’s amazing but i saw that he gets replaced in some of the books ahead so i’m not looking forward to that, hopefully the others will be as good as him.

Fabulous
Rupert Degas is a genius! Only listened to this one because of him. I’ve come to realise that his name is enough to tempt me to buy a book because if he’s narrating it then the story must / will be good. Great airport nonetheless. Thank you Mr Degas!

I’d listen to more audio books if this guy narrated more of them. Great story, great narration, perfect and worth the money.
