A young mongoose protects his human family from two murderous cobras. English Nobel laureate Kipling's best story from The Jungle Book collection, "Rikki Tikki Tavi" has been adapted many times to film and television.
A fast moving story that my grandson thoroughly enjoyed on a long car journey. Easy to listen to.

I did not care for the narration of this story. I think it would’ve made a better impression if I had read it. This is a children’s story and will probably be more appreciated by the age group it was intended. It’s a very quick listen and I am glad I was able to add it to my library.
narrator does an amazing job. the story is short and kept my wild kids entertained for 30 minutes. the story is exciting, and the writing (of course being Kipling) is fantastic.
The story is good but it was short. I think the story is great and a love all the animals in it
This was only the first chapter! Who wants to buy only 1 chapter. Terrible waste of a credit.
Our five year old son really likes this audio book. We use it to send him to bed. the narration is very well done and clear. Darzy's singing is quite funny.
Would you listen to Rikki Tikki Tavi again? Why?
Yes! The story is captivating. The narration is brisk, but valiant in its voices and efforts.
Who was your favorite character and why?
What does Curtis Sisco bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Flourishes with his voice. A quickened understanding of the pace of the story.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
A Mongoose finds his Home
Any additional comments?
Bought it a little too early for my 2 year old, but will definitely listen again and again as he gets older. The story should get richer with each listen.
I adored these stories as a child. It's so nice to listen to them again.
Great story from my childhood. This audio is like a movie! Wonderfully brought to life.

Worst narration I've heard.Listened to a few sentences and deleted story. Luckily it was cheap!
