Publisher's Summary

A terrorist doesn't let strangers in her flat because they might be undercover police or intelligence agents, but her children bring their mates home and they run all over the place. The terrorist doesn't know that a kid has bugged every room in her house, cloned the hard drive on her PC, and copied all the numbers in her phone book. The kid works for Cherub. Cherub agents are aged between ten and seventeen. They live in the real world, slipping under adult radar and getting information that sends criminals and terrorists to jail.

Kept me interested

This was my first book so hard to compare with others but I felt the narrator was good, he had to put on many different accents. I read this book when I was younger and it has a really good story line.

narration could be better

simon could have put a bit more effort into expressing the characters emotions. he could have put on a shouting voice when someones talking. but what i am trying to say is put some more effort into it, to liven it up a bit.

CHERUB The Recruit

This book is by far the best I’ve ever read and listen to!!😁

I’m now close to finish reading the second book CLASS A and I have made myself a promise to only listen to the second book once I have finished reading the second book.📖

I have to say that if you are looking for a good, adventurous, dangerous and funny book then this is the book for you!!!👍

I would strongly recommend that younger readers (13 and under👦🧒) don’t read this for I’m 14 and it still has some swear words in it that I don’t like to say

Kind regards Sophia 😜👋🙂

Great story but terrible narrator

The narrator has weirdly inconsistent speed, volume and puts infuriating emphasis on all the wrong words. I found myself repeating most sentences in my mind but with the intonation of a normal human.
