About this listen
The superharem phenomenon continues!
It's time for the Cherry Blossom Girls to become who we're meant to be. Solving murders? Taking on famous Hollywood actresses who have gone rogue? Exposing a terrible government program to the masses?
Comes with the territory.
One more mutant facility to destroy and we can set our sights on bigger things and faraway places. But it isn't going to be that easy, and there are other factors at play, risks we're going to have to take if we want to expose the truth.
I just hope I'm ready to live up to the hype when the time comes.
Contains mature themes.
©2019 Harmon Cooper and Boycott Books, LLC (P)2019 TantorIt was at this book with the new narrator that I finally decided to pull the plug. While the new narrator is not terrible, the series needs the "radio play" treatment to bring the story up beyond the tropes. I really wanted to continue the series, despite the change in narration, but... I just could not make the leap.
That said, the author has a great comic book plot going on here, and I do think fans of the genre will continue to get value from the series.
Fun romp but lacks the joy of the previous series
