Publisher's Summary

Gary Thomas, best-selling author of Sacred Marriage, believes that one word can bring hope, light and life into any marriage: Cherish

"Most marriages survive by gritting teeth and holding on. But marriages can and will not only survive but thrive when husbands and wives learn to cherish one another", Thomas says.

And in a world desperate for marriage redemption, the act of cherishing is needed now more than ever.

Thomas shows that although there are a countless number of marriages consisting of two people just going through the motions, there are real ways this pattern can be reversed: when husbands and wives learn to cherish one another in proven, loving, and everyday actions and words.

Through personal stories and real-world examples, Thomas proves what husbands and wives can begin doing today to turn their marriage around - even a marriage marred by neglect and disrespect.

So how do you cherish your spouse? Thomas will show you how going out of your way to notice them, appreciate them, honor them, encourage them, and hold them close to your heart will bring hope, light, and life into your marriage.

Amazing book for christian couples!

This was the first audiobook I have ever listened to and also the first Gary Thomas book, i tend to prefer hard copies for reading any kind of book usually. However, i breezed through this fantastic book.
It is absolutely geared towards married christian couples and would benefit single christians as well. I will definitely read/listen to more Gary Thomas books.

Every husband needs to read this book

Gary Thomas nails it with this book. There are handful of books I need to read every year, and Cherish is definitely one of them. He gives practical tips and biblical insights into how to not just love your wife, but cherish her. Get this and listen to it immediately.

(He also does a great job narrating!)

A gift from above

My best friend passed away 13 years ago. ~Cherish~ was a word she used to use a lot. So much so we teased her about it sometimes. Fast forward to 2016, I was struggling in my marriage, I prayed and out loud, verbally asked my best friend to HELP ME!! I started browsing for books and within minutes there it was right before me *CHERISH*... wow. I was shocked. I was even MORE shocked it was about MARRIAGE. I bought it without even reading the whole summary. It was a sign from above, truly for me it was. I was a little turned off by the constant religious references ( I'm more spiritual than religious I guess) and I almost stopped within the first chapter. BUT because of how this book came to me, I had to complete it. Period. And I did. I'm so glad I did :) I also had my husband listen to it as well. It helped us tremendously and was the first book we both listened to, to aid in our marriage troubles. almost 3 years later and 12 years of marriage, we are stronger than ever. I even have the word tattooed on my arm now :) So thank you! To the author and my best friend <3

Powerful

As a Christian myself, I really appreciated the insights provided to help build a healthy, loving, gospel/Christ-centered marriage. It caused me to cry, helped me understand myself a bit more, and created a desire to know my spouse better...to cherish him more in the ways he'd like to be cherished. Thank you!!

So Refreshing and Convicting

Reading this book left me refreshed in my soul, convicted of my lack of cherish for my wife, as well as impaired to cherish her more. I would recommend this book to every couple. Full stop. It’s just that powerful, succinct, clear, and profitable for godly living in your marriage. If applied properly, I think the concepts presented in this book can also help to understand how to love and cherish others in our lives. This book seems like it was just the right book to listen to at just the right time. I hope it blesses you as much at least, if not more, than it has blessed me. I plan to listen to it multiple times because it’s that good.
