About this listen

Remington (Remi) Winchester and Colton (Colt) Braxton had a history. They dated and then she got pregnant. On their wedding day, Colt never showed up. Kinkaid, (Remi's Dad), says it's for the best and helps her start her own realty company in Wyoming along with a new house. She falls in love with her manager at the realty company, Michael, and they marry. After Sierra graduates high school, she decides she wants to go back to where her grandparents live so she can be near them. Michael and Remi agree they want to do it too. Colt has become an incredible attorney.

When his job as a construction worker on the side take him to Remi's house to fix her roof, he finds out he has a daughter and he finds out that Remi's husband Michael has been murdered, and she is accused of it. Sierra wants to become an attorney, so he takes her under his wing and together they exonerate Remi. Secrets start to emerge, though. Dangerous secrets, a black notebook, a black-market baby scandal, murders, attempted murders, arson, coverups, extortion, and hush money all start to come to light. In the end, though, no one is prepared for the answers. Everybody will be caught in the crossfire.
