Had me hooked from the start. The emotional roller-coaster made me cry. Listened to it twice.

A dark story including violence, drugs, sex, drama, heavy emotion, overcoming abuse and letting go...
I enjoyed Christians narration but Kate was very breathy and had a lot of prolonged pauses which were annoying.

I really enjoyed this despite having put off listening because I thought I might not. I haven't checked yet but I hope there's a sequel because I can definitely see there could be more to these character's stories.

I’ve listened to this book numerous times. The experiences of the characters are horrific and the way they treat each other not much better but somehow the author has written a story that captivated me from the start. They help each other is ways that would probably never happen in reality but it makes for a great story.
