Enjoyable and Practical

The narrative through which leadership principles were explained was both enjoyable and practical in its approach. Easy to see how teams can fail and thrive. A great read.

Everyone will learn something of value

The story vehicle and characters were relatable in pretty much any organisation.
Give it a little time and you'll be "that's exactly like...". I really enjoyed this book for not focusing on specific techniques, industry fads but simple examples. I could have easily listened to more examples, in depth drill- in to 5 dysfunctions but hard to find fault, would highly recommend to anyone.

Highly recommend

This was recommended to me by a leadership coach and I can see why. Thoroughly enjoyed the way this was put forward and found it easy to follow and understand as well as easy to relate to.

Just can't put it down!!! Great Book!

The book was written like a novel, and the narrator was perfect! I could literally imagine the setting and the characters! The author presented a story that will definitely catch the attention of every reader (or listener)

Great for beginner leaders

Some good concepts for leaders at the beginning of their leadership career.
The narration is not great which is a shame as the story telling could have been great.

Interesting story and very relatable

This is really relevant to anyone who is a change maker in their organisation. The framework was really interesting and I like the story telling aspect to help provide practical examples of how the dysfunctions can show up.

Pretty good book for those who look for an answer

I personally love this book. My boss recommended it to me and it didn't disappoint. Performance is pretty good and engaging. I listen in one day and was annoyed when was interrupted or have to pause. I personally believe the book is good when it give the answer to the most burning question at a time.
This one certainly did for me and I will revisit it many times as time progress and I develop my team.

Is your team functional or dysfunctional?

It was great to listen to this version of the book after reading it many moons ago!

And team leadership hasnt changed in this time making this a 'must listen too if you're on a leadership team.

The Five Dysfunctions of a team can be solved and Patrick has great tips and techniques to address these common problems.

I highly recommend listening to it .....I finished listening over the past four days without having to rewind!

Great content and very well narrated

For a person who struggles reading business books, this was enlightening. The story format really helped as I love reading fiction. Beautifully narrated.
