Publisher's Summary

Rich Dad’s Cashflow Quadrant reveals how some people work less, earn more, pay less in taxes, and learn to become financially free. Have you ever asked yourself:

  • Why do some investors make money with little risk while most other investors just break even?
  • Why do most employees go from job to job while others quit their jobs and go on to build business empires?
  • What does the shift from the Industrial Age to the Information Age mean to me and my family?
  • How can I use this change to my best advantage and chart my path to financial freedom?

Cashflow Quadrant was written for you if you are ready to…

  • Move beyond job security and begin to find your own world of financial freedom
  • Make significant changes in your life
  • Take control of your financial future

"The main reason people struggle financially is because they have spent years in school but learned nothing about money. The result is that people learn to work for money… but never learn to have money work for them." (Robert Kiyosaki)

Brilliant. Inspiring. Educational. Just like his other books you're going to live this one!!
Since he refers to the cash flow quadrants frequently in his other books this one is a must-listen!

    "Too much repitition"

I love Robert's Rich dad poor dad but this book doesn't have much to say. Too much repetitions; in an annoying level. Very obvious things being repeated over and over and over. Especially in first half of the book. The first half of the book could be summarised in a few lines. Taking advice from his "Rich dad poor dad", taking action on your learnings from that book could be way more helpful than reading this book.

So many times throughout this book I thought geez that makes common sense now that you mention it. The knowledge, plus sharing your know how, stimulates desire with an 'I can learn and do this and I'll give it my all to devote myself to becoming and being the best I can.' Thanks for sharing your experience and passion to teach us what works. Happy Heidi 😆

    Any additional comments?

Pros: Introduces the Cash Flow Quadrant
Neg: Too much of the audio is filled with famous sayings and stories of success found in his other financial books. I would have paid the same price for the book even if it were 1 hour long without all the extra fluff (repeated items).

"Everyone should read/listen to this book - period!"

The rich have a totally different set of rules and (fiscal/financial) laws that they live by. And it is not discriminating. Every person can choose to life on the E (employee) and S (self employed) side of live where they are taxed heavily and always struggle to stay on top or on the B (business owner) and I (investor) side of life, where true freedom is possible.

This book is read in such a way that it's almost as if you can hear Robert Kiyosaki read it himself. Which is great of course. Great combination of great writing (in speaking-style) and performance of narrating it for us.

Very easy and pleasant to listen to and it changes your persective on society and really makes you think and want to start changing stuff.

I recommend you play the online version of Cashflow 101, the online game, after listening to this book.

"Good continuation of Rich Dad Poor Dad"
Would you consider the audio edition of Rich Dad's Cashflow Quadrant to be better than the print version?

What did you like best about this story?

This had more detail, and I found it to be more motivating than RD/PD.

    Which scene was your favorite?

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Rich Dad's Cashflow Quadrant?

It's time to evaluate whether I intend to stay in the E (Employee) quadrant, or move to the B (Business Owner) or I (Investor) quadrants.

"Not my first, but my last book by Kiyosaki."

I'll keep this short. This book, like all the others I've read by Robert convey a few general concepts. My issue is that this book could literally be a tenth it's current length. It's the same information, over and over and over. Furthermore, if you general knowledge of wealth management, then this book isn't for you. It's as simple and general as they come.

    "Good but could've been better"

The book contains a lot of interesting lessons and insight into who we are as well as help you see where you want to be more clearly.
However the problem with the book is there is a lot of repetition. A lot. The book could've been written in less than half the space and not loose a single lesson or even single sentence. 😐

    "Interesting for the first 5mins"

The book seemed to go from the importance of the different financial quadrants, to a lecture on the superior ethics of rich people. there seemed to be about one or two valuable lessons in this book but after that it was a heavily repetitive rhythm that I only finished for the sake of completion. I will admit it did turn me off to hear how the author is such an enthusiastic supporter of Trump, but I guess when your a multimillionaire he's great.

As much as I like Robert and his books, this book is repetitive and only emphasizes old principles learned in previous books.
Also, the narrator makes me want to sleep.

"Quick! Put out as many books as you can"
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Substance. I came for the cashflow quadrant theory and was subjected to hours of other fluff I did not need. For a man who claims to have done poorly in accounting and cared little for it, he spends an awful lot of time giving out financial advice pertaining to the finance field. The guy has written 24 + books. Either he is the most astute financial mind to ever walk this earth or he's just churning out books for the hell of it. I am going to bet on the latter.

    "Great advice!"

If you get nothing out of this, you should get that proper cash management is a significant key to financial independence. Stop spending, start paying off revolving and other debt, and start on the B side of the quadrant, while building towards the I side. I recommend this book to anyone who desires to finally take control of their finances.

"Interesting, but not much information added"
Would you try another book written by Robert T. Kiyosaki or narrated by Tim Wheeler?

If you have read "Rich dad, poor dad", you will find a lot of repetitions here. There is not much information added, and it was a bit disappointing to re-listen (or re-read) the same concepts and examples. However, it you are just starting on this path it is useful to repeat and consolidate ideas that could be totally new for you. Download it just in the last case.

Did Tim Wheeler do a good job differentiating each of the characters? How?

The narrator is very good. Clear pronunciation and good pace.

I have read a lot of Robert Kiyosaki books and I am highly impressed and learnt from them. This book, Cashflow Quadrant, is no exception. I first read the cashflow quadrant book, and then i bought the audiobook and listened to it.. I found it a lot easier to just listen to this audiobook on my laptop, Smartphone and other devices. I listen to this audiobook very frequently and it keeps me going in my desire to become my own success. This audiobook is very motivational. There is nothing better than been able to listen to this type of message in a relaxed mood from your Smartphone or laptop. Thank you Mr Kiyosaki.

    "Disappointing"
If this book wasn’t for you, who do you think might enjoy it more?

The book is clearly written for an American audience, with lots of references to US tax law.

Has Rich Dad's Cashflow Quadrant put you off other books in this genre?

No but personally I would avoid other books by the same author. There is just far too much repetition, little in the way of content and annoyingly constant references to buying the author's 'cashflow' game!

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The narrator is easy enough to listen to... it's just the content that might send you to sleep at times.

What character would you cut from Rich Dad's Cashflow Quadrant?

Rich Dad - far too pleased with himself!

    Any additional comments?

I haven't read the original but thought I would give this one a try. There are occasional interesting passages but mostly it feels like the author is trying to spin out a limited amount of information over a whole book.

Tim Wheeler narrates another Rich Dad book very well. He has the perfect style to narrate this type of book.

This book definitely adds further value on top of the original Rich Dad Poor Dad book and is worth listening to, it's not just the same content re-hashed and both books offer a lot of value.
