Enjoyable content
Enjoyed the book. It was definitely let down by the narrator who seemed to be reading it without any prior involvement with the content

Almost unlistenably bad
Any additional comments?
The subject matter is interesting, and makes a good general introduction to Buddhism. The reason I felt moved to write a review, however, was the appalling reading by Wendell Wadsworth, who has the thickest American accent I've ever heard. I could get used to that - albeit it grated to these English ears to continually be hearing about "Booda" and "Boodism", plus the occasional "Dee-ee-dee" for 'Deity' - but the actual pronunciation is sloppy and at times difficult to understand, which is simply unforgivable.
Mr Wadsworth, astonishingly, has another 18 titles to his name on Audible - all of which I will be at pains to avoid.

Great Introduction to Buddhism but needs ...
I thoroughly enjoyed the content of this audiobook (it was my first so I may be missing something), but frustrated that I can't understand the Web addresses and movie title that the narrator gave out in the final chapter.
