About this listen

There’s pretty much only one rule when you’re a guy.

Don’t be a douche.

Turns out, the fastest way to break that rule is to fall for your best friend’s sister.

Ava’s brilliant, sharp-tongued, gorgeous, and five years younger than me.

She’s the sexual equivalent of running with scissors. In a word, she’s dangerous. And completely off-limits.

Falling for her could ruin everything.

Yet I can’t seem to stop, even when her company is threatened by a lawsuit, and my promotion hinges on representing the opposing client—and winning.

I can’t see a way out of this mess that doesn’t end in a broken friendship, a broken heart, or a ruined career.

I may have broken the bro code when I fell for Ava. But do I have the balls to handle what comes next?

I loved 98% if this book. The performance was amazing they really worked well together. I loved listening to both of them and the chemistry was evident which really enriched this great story even more.

No spoilers, but Ava is a much better Woman than me, because no matter what; I could never forgive nor forget.

I really enjoyed Bro Code. Some of the story lines were a bit far sketchy (what did they actually make in the factory?) but the romance was good, and believable. The dual narration was the best part though, and great choice in voice actors, they were perfect as Barrett & Ava. I quite enjoyed this one 😊

Bro Code be damned

These two narrators are just great. Love their reading of the words with the expression that they use. Great story too. How they have both been in love with each other for so long. Both having strong feelings about the bro code. His betrayal and how he wins his way back into her heart. Loved it.

I actually (surprisingly) enjoyed this one a lot. The narrators are amazing and the story is great. I also loved that it was a quick read.
The narrators jump back and forth; that is, in addition to each reading a chapter (boy, girl, boy, girl etc), the male narrator speaks ALL male parts, including those in the female chapters, and vice versa. I understand why they've done this, but personally found it quite disjointed and difficult to keep track of. Like watching a movie, instead of having something narrated to you, it requires a little more concentration. By the end, it was fine, but it takes a while to get used to it.

The storyline is great up until the last few chapters. It feels shaky and unprepared, like the author had a brainwave of a new plot/resolution, and just shoves it in there with no prior leadup. It wasn't the best, but it is executed nicely, and really, we're not reading this for the storyline are we.

Loved It!

Bit predictable and also a few things that were a little off for my tastes. The female narrator was good the male was a bit flat but being duet is still better then other audios

Just good not great
