Publisher's Summary

In the third book of The End series, Joshua Jordan remains in Israel during his self-imposed “exile” out of the reach of U.S. authorities who have trumped-up false criminal treason charges against him. His wife, Abigail, continues to lead the Roundtable to prove the innocence of her husband.

Following the nuclear attack by Russia, Israel is cleaning up the bodies of dead enemy soldiers for 7 months and setting out on its 7 year plan - both per the prophecies in Ezekiel. As corruption in high government offices threaten to block the election of a worthy presidential candidate by all means necessary - including the unthinkable - Israel’s leadership is tempted to sign a “peace” proposal initiated by the UN under the authority of Coliquin. After he discusses this plan with Pastor Peter Campbell, Joshua is convinced Coliquin may well be the prophesied Anti-Christ and that his peace plan is a trap to destroy Israel.

Are the recurring dreams Joshua has had about the coming rapture from God. And is the end sooner than anyone expects?

Story and narration are very good however (comma)

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Yes. However I would tell them that the DIALOG between characters was sometime not realistic. The story is very good and very believable and for those who care about such things, it was scripturally sound.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Brink of Chaos?

There was one but it would be a spoiler to mention it.

What does Stefan Rudnicki bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narrator was VERY good, which, to me, means I felt that I WAS reading the book. I really don't want a narrator to interpret the book for me. Stefan Rudnicki does not seem to try to do that. The narration was very smooth and not at all distracting.

Could you see Brink of Chaos being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

I certain could see the book being made into a movie. I have no opinion about the actors, because I don't know them, I rarely watch movies.

Ready for the next book!

Would you listen to Brink of Chaos again? Why?

no...only because i dont listen to books again after i've already completed them.

Any additional comments?

Great series!! A little bit like "Left Behind", but so much more! And, different as these three books have taken us with the Jordan family and their friends up until the Rapture. A believeable storyline and makes you think just how close we might be to some of these events and, therefore, what changes should we make in our lives to be better prepared and share the gospel of Jesus with others! :-)

Wonderful

I started reading this series some time ago but I just found out there were 2 other books and I must say I really enjoyed listening to this book. I finished in 2 days. I found myself wanting to say prayers for the Jordan family myself at times. The ending was amazing and really made me thankful for my own salvation and the reminder of no matter what we have to face in this world it sure doesn't compare to the joy we will have later.

Intriguing

Tim Lahaye knows his end time prophecy. It is almost like he had a crystal ball when writing this series to see how some of the situations are today in 2019. " Even so, come Lord Jesus, come!"

An okay story for the series

I enjoyed reading and listening to the first two books for their stories and high stakes. This story was a bit average for me. The main character - Josh Jordan - gets little to nothing to do in this book considering we follow him in the first two books. If you want to argue that his heroic action in the end was something but the whole rapture incident totally makes the whole event pointless. This book pounds you over the head with constant biblical tie in prophecies like we're going to quit reading if they don't and this. At least give your audience some credit. Pastor Campell is nothing but a biblical exposition machine The whole plot with Josh's wife is sort of stupid. She doesn't want the chip but lets her children get it. She would rather go through the black market to get a fake chip which is more risky than just getting one. And wouldn't the government be able to trace Cal's chip when they both go to the underground to get the fake chip. I like the story - mainly for the FBI and election stories but the rapture really make both Josh and his Wife's stories pointless. It's an average story, the performance was great.
