As a botanist and professor of plant ecology, Robin Wall Kimmerer has spent a career learning how to ask questions of nature using the tools of science. There is so much knowledge, wisdom, skill, kindness and love woven in the fabric of this book. It is beautifully written, words braided together so evocatively I was fully immersed from the first. This knowledge, wisdom, kindness and love is reflected in the Robin's mellifluous voice, like a soft blanket, comforting and intricate. It is a most beautiful gift and I wish everyone has the chance to hear it.
