I enjoyed this story of Nic and Elle. The narrators did a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life.

I listened to the audio book of this because I was in a slump and needed to adult so I thought listening might help to get me over the hump. Firstly, it was well narrated and I did enjoy listening to it. But I just didn't really connect to it. The inevitable drama felt a little underplayed and too quickly resolved.

I appreciated that neither character were overly dramatic but geez in that situation there needs to be drama. And the rest of the story from there was just brushed over. I don't know, it just all felt like I skimmed the details except they weren't there to skim over. Maybe I was just expecting more from the whole premise but it just felt flat.

Story and performance mediocre. While is it a HEA the book had very little excitement, in the way of some drama. just a flat one dimensional story. The book is short .
not a fan of the narrators.
