Another incredible audiobook. I didn't love this as much as I loved Bourbon & Lies for some reason thr narration just didn't land as well and felt a bit jumpy but it was still fantastic.

So much has happened to these two. So much they have endured. Not only for themselves but for their families too . When will these past events free them all ? I’m truly glad she found her peace with herself and her family . That she was able to have her own happiness . Especially with one of the Fox s brothers and his beautiful daughters . Perfect ✨💜💕💜✨

Dear lord I am such a sucker for these Foxx boys.

I loved learning more about Lincoln and his past regarding his late wife.
That history broke my heart for him and his girls.
But seeing the inner workings of his family and their dynamic had me absolutely melting.

Faye is a baddie and I love her? Hello?
She knows she's a baddie and she knows how to deal with those who do her wrong.

Lincoln and Faye's relationship evolution was great, and I absolutely adore these two together.
The tension between them gave me absolute life.
Don't even get me started on the show the two of them put on for everyone.
That scene had me absolutely dead. It ruined me in all the best ways. IYKYK.

The narrators, Megan Wicks and Lee Samuels, 100% did their characters justice, and also gave life to the small town of Fiasco, KY.
They suited their characters and I loved every minute of their narration.

Lincoln Fox is just delicious, Faye is so fierce. I love this series with the crime stories that occur in the background making this series thrilling as well as swoon worthy.

The spice to plot was perfection.

The things they do with that Bourbon…. Holy smokes.

I loved this sweet story, following the first book. with our second Fox boy. I love how strong the female leads are in the book. The men are strong and protective but don't take over.

I’m sad I didn’t like this one as much as the first.
There was so much going on with the story, Lincoln & Faye played second fiddle to the drama. Yes, there were good spicy scenes and Lincoln was obsessed with Faye from the get go. I just didn’t feel as much connection to them.
