Mesmerising
Rarely do I bother to give a full review of a book. However, this is the first audiobook where I haven’t been able to wait until the usual time of day to listen!
It has entranced and mesmerised me and I can’t rank it highly enough. It it live it and hopelessly wait for the next in the series!

More plot twists than Game of Thrones
I spent half this book worried about certain characters & both horrified & disappointed at the direction of the story.
Then - Plot Twist! I wasn't expecting the last part of the book & white-knuckled it while listening to the last hour or two.
What a wild ride! Hang in there - this book delivers just as much as the first. Straight on to the third book!

even better than the first book
these books are written with soul. such artwork is greatly needed in our time to stimulate the deep imagination and DNA memory to recall / be activated into what human beings and culture can be.
