About this listen
She's everything I was never supposed to want.
Dominic
Eighteen years old, a Bratva princess, and Lev Melnikov's daughter.
That should be enough to keep me away, but the second I see Natalya all grown up, I know she's mine.
I try to fight what I feel for her, but my principessa is determined to bring me to my knees, and she's willing to do whatever it takes to get me there.
Natalya
He's the head of the Alessi family, more than twice my age, and friends with my dad.
That should be enough to keep me away, but I'm lost to him the second he comes back to America wearing his signature Armani suit and sexy smile.
He tries to fight his attraction, but when a dangerous situation lands me at his house and under his protection, I know it's only a matter of time before he takes what he wants.
Loving Dominic is dangerous, but being possessed by him might just destroy me.
This is a very steamy dark mafia romance, and it does contain a large age gap. For mature listeners.

im all for an age gap in general but when youre constantly referencing him holding her as a baby it feels wrong on so many levels. I persevered but this isnt a favourite. im hoping the next books in the series are better because this left me feeling very uncomfortable

This was an insanely big age gap (25 years) and I wish Natalya was at least 21, 18 is so damn young; to me, that's just a kid still. But, I already loved Dominic from his cameos in the Melinkov Bratva series, and I kind of liked how he held her as a baby and she straight away gravitated to him.
Vitaly was his usual hilarious self. His and grey hair story. . . lmao! I think he is one of my favourite MMCs ever. And I love that Svetlana seems as nuts as he is. Her story is going to be fun, i'm sure.
I loved getting tiny glimpses of the romantic connection between Val and Yelana. And I am sooooo hoping Mia gets to act out beyond the restrictions the men put on all their women. She isn't super girly and I could totally see her rebelling and joining the army for a few years before coming home a little older and tougher - ready for her story with Dario as more than a sheltered child of 18.
Anyway, on to Luka's story!
WISH NAYALYA WAS OLDER THAN 18.

I love Domonic from his appearances in the "Paved in.." related series. However, I struggled with his character sexualising a teenager of 18, especially considering his history and opposition to men who sexually exploit women. I tried to ignore her age and visualised her slightly older.
There were too many sex scenes that didn't contribute to advancing the story- they just made me cringe and I skipped as many of those parts as I could. The earlier ones bothered me the most, because she went from innocent virgin to horny too fast for my liking. I get that the author's intention here was to portray the fact that she felt magnetised towards him, but I think it would have been nicer with more resistance at the start and a different method of intimate connection, like hot stares that lead to both of them running for their bedrooms to relieve themselves of the intense passion they feel in each other's presence (unbeknown to each other at first). Also, intense looks, smelling each other's clothes, looking at pictures of each other. Basically, just more resistance on Dominic's part to demonstrate his loyalty to Lev and honour because of her age. From her side, just more curiosity from someone innocent with no experience.
Maybe this is just my POV. Either way, I still enjoyed it and love this author's work. I also love these narrators and am happy they seemed age appropriate for the characters.
Enjoy reading/listening.
Glad I listened, but adapted it in my head
