This is a very steamy, dark mafia romance with a little humor mixed in! It's the sixth book in the Melnikov Legacy series, but it can be enjoyed as a standalone. No cheating, no other woman drama, and an HEA is always guaranteed. For mature listeners.

The male narrator was flawless—he made Dario sound authentically Italian despute absolutely nailing the Russian accent in the other books in the series, which is no small feat. The female narrator matched that energy perfectly. Together, they elevated the story and made the characters feel fully alive.
Sonja Grey has written something special here. Even though this is the seventh book in the series, it never once felt repetitive. That alone is impressive. Setting the story in Italy rather than at Dominic’s house in America was a brilliant choice. It gave Dario his own powerful identity and allowed the book to stand apart from the others in a way that felt fresh and intentional.
Across all seven audiobooks I’ve listened to so far, the way the characters intertwine is addictive, yet each story remains distinct. I won't comment on how or why the story was unique in an effort not to give away spoilers, all I will say is Mia's twist did not disappoint.
There’s plenty of action, strong pacing, and real emotional pull. I felt like Dominic and Natalia's story leaned a bit too heavily into the steamy scenes—while enjoyable, this one didn’t. The balance was perfect.
This story was captivating from start to finish, and I genuinely didn’t want it to end. I’m beyond excited for what’s coming next. Even though the next instalment isn’t available on audiobook yet, I couldn’t wait, so I’ve already downloaded the Kindle version because I need Sasha’s story now.
Congratulations to Sonja and both narrators on an exceptional performance and an amazing story. This was a standout instalment in an already addictive series, and I absolutely loved it.
