this goes really deep into the idea of a necromancer and the magic involved, making it sound very difficult, instead of just casting a spell and boom skeleton Boi the book goes in-depth into the magic and how the mc has to weave the magic to create his minions

I always like systems in litrpg’s seeing how they balance things like I would in dnd.
Yes the whole morality thing gets a bit annoying but also makes the character who he is.
Hopefully he is a bit more ruthless after the events in this book.

Like the system.

Love this series. Enjoyable universe and amusing characters. Adventure, progression and exploration of an interesting system and world. Solid narrator. Can't wait for the next one.

Dying to hear more

I adore this series, and the narrator is perfect. This was a perfect follow up to book 1! I’m excited to listen to book 3, I will be keeping an eye out for the preorder!

Perfect!

Confirmed S Tier LitRPG I reckon. Good characters, fun banter, an actual plot and a sick progression throughout. Thanks RinoZ and can't wait for the third 🤙

Actually an epic series!

Such a good book. There were a couple of little things I didn't like - the character's morals slip a little more than I would have liked with an MC, and there's a couple of deus ex machina moments, but all can be forgiven for the force this story becomes. The storyline is gripping. The magic is fascinating. the world building is top notch and it's so awesome to see a character reflect on the morality of killing people, robbing graves and a whole host of other things too. the MC's foul-mouthed offsider gave such a welcome shot of comic relief too. This was a near perfect book. I will definitely be continuing this series

another stellar entry in the series

Not quite as good as I'd thought after book one. Will see what happens in book 3 if I'll continue further. Not the best narrator, he's a bit dull in my opinion. Not the worst though.

Not bad?
