I loved everything about this book.
This is my first Emily Henry book and I’ll definitely be reading them all.
I loved everything about this book, the author, the characters, the narrator, the humour.
I found myself spontaneously laughing out loud a couple of times, even though it wasn’t really a humorous book. Some of the characters
comments I just found so witty.

Wow
I cannot succinctly explain how I feel about this book. I listened to it at the right time for me and lost sleep as every time I put it down I was still lost in the story. The clarity of production and the talent of the voiceover artist were perfect.
Emily Henry creates real, layered characters and interesting plots. This is the second one I’ve read. Congratulations on a book that provides insight, produces smiles and tears, encourages self reflection and was just at the right time. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Fun, cheeky, sweet
What a delightful read. Tongue-in-cheek ‘dig’ at romance tropes. Believable, endearing, complex characters. The narrator switching up the voices during the dialogue was great and really pushed the listening from good to great.
The ‘happily ever after’ was swoon-worthy, this book hits exactly as it should.

I’m in looove with Emily Henry’s work
After Beach Read, now listened to Book Lovers, Henry’s writing is near flawless. She’s so witty. I’m hooked with every piece of dialogue and every simile she uses. She is the master at the rom com, with very modern plot lines but nothing cliche or predictable about them at all. More more more of her please! I would be perfectly happy to see her stack up a whole career of feel good romances and nothing more. Incredible writer!
Oh and the narrator is so talented!!! I can’t believe she was both Nora AND Charlie AND Libby. So skilled.

beautifully written - fell in love with the characters
disliked the over dramatisation of iron deficiency - it’s not a medical emergency as the author suggests and easily treatable
